Our Leadership Team

Maurice A. Forde founded Forde Windows & Remodeling in 1987 after working as a carpenter and subcontractor for years and deciding to start his own company. Maurice manages the entire Forde team, and is involved in every project. He is also a National Certified Remodeler (CR) and a National Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler (CKBR). He also has completed the HUD Lead Safe Remodeling program and many more.

Maurice joined the local Chicago chapter of NARI in 1990, was elected to the Board of Directors in 1991 and served as chapter president from 1997 to 1999. During Maurice’s time as chapter president, he helped the chapter become more fiscally responsible by instituting a budget process and introduced the NARI planning cycle so the chapter would never miss filing with the IRS. He remains active with NARI today.

Sari founded Forde Windows and Remodeling, Inc. with her husband, Maurice, more than 35 years ago. As vice president, Sari handles scheduling, invoicing and billing. She believes quality work and great customer service is key to success. Sari has enjoyed watching her children grow and become involved in the family business.

As Project Manager for Forde Windows and Remodeling, Inc., Steve takes pride in completing projects on time and of the highest standards, while also ensuring the customer is satisfied upon completion.

Steve has a Fine Arts degree and experience in industrial and toy design, which is where he developed skills in furniture design, construction, home trim carpentry and construction. He’s a licensed IL Home Inspector and holds certifications as a CLC, Installation Master. Additionally, Steve is Lead and OSHA certified.

Steve enjoys transforming items that are deemed outdated, broken or worn out and turning them into something new and beautiful. As such, he takes pleasure in creating or bringing life to something from another person’s ideas. He’s delighted when a customer’s face “lights up,” revealing the reality of the customer’s dream.

Steve won the NARI “Employee of the Year” award in 2005.

Jared Forde is an Estimator and Project Manager at Forde Windows and Remodeling, Inc. He specializes in working with the team on window and door installation, trim work, and exterior capping. Jared has a Bachelors of Arts in audio engineering and a minor in jazz performance.

Jared enjoys working with his hands and solving problems “on the fly.” Additionally, he appreciates doing interior trim work with a stain grade finish, especially when working with exotic woods. Jared views it as a puzzle and indicates it is very rewarding once completed.
