Our Process

Nari Award Winner At FW&R, we treat every project the same. So whether we’re installing new windows, doing a kitchen remodel or adding a second story to your home, FW&R uses the same process to ensure our work will not only meet, but exceed your expectations.

When you work with FW&R, here are steps we’ll take to get your project completed:

Step #1: Initial Discover Meeting

One of our guiding principles is listening to our customers. FW&R won’t being a project until we have a thorough understanding of your goals and objectives. We get this information during an initial discovery or “get to know you” meeting. We’ll listen, learn about what you want, when you want it and what your budget is. We’ll be honest and open with you, let you know what is realistic and whether we’re the right contractor for your job.

Step #2: Fulfillment Meeting

Here, FW&R will sit with you and confirm the project specifications and budget we discussed during the discovery meeting. For major jobs like kitchen redesigns or room additions, we’ll review the drawings to ensure the completed product meets your needs.

Step #3: The Project

As your general contractor, it’s our responsibility to execute your project on time, on budget and in a manner that exceeds your expectations. Here’s a list of some of the things FW&R will do throughout the course of the project:

  • Provide a detailed project plan, including timelines
  • Assign a project manager that will be your single “go to” person on a daily basis
  • Bring in and manage all subcontractors, whom we have thoroughly vetted
  • Obtain all necessary permits
  • Order all materials
  • Accompany you (if you’d like) to select appliances, cabinets, countertops, fixtures, etc.
  • Prepare the work site to minimize disruption to you and your neighbors
  • Clean up at the end of every day

Step #4: After the Project

Once the project is finished, you’ll do a walkthrough with the project manager to make sure all of the work has been completed to your satisfaction. You’re also free to contact us with any questions or concerns after the project is complete.
